Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity
SDi was approached by Delta Sigma Phi’s editor to redesign The Carnation. His goal was to feature a restructuring of the content of the magazine and provide a more professional, consistent and editorially interesting approach to content delivery from issue to issue.

Delta Sigma Phi provided SDi with past magazine issues to initiate a magazine audit and provide any recommendations for redesign and restructuring. Through close collaboration with The Carnation’s editor a strategy was then established for improving the publication. SDi developed a new cover banner and magazine grid structure; established consistency in font sets for areas such as pull quotes, captions and headline treatments and repeating department sections; and integrated more use of photography and graphics throughout the publication. Currently, SDi continues to provide design and layout of each print issue of The Carnation.
